A missing racehorse. A daring moonlight rescue.

But when Matty’s parents set off on a cruise they won she is horrified when her strict Aunt Julie is sent to look after her in their absence. Aunt Jules isn't exactly a big fan of horses and determines to make sure Matty gets ahead with her school work instead of spending time riding, So how will Matty train for the big cross country race she has entered?
Then a famous author brings her champion ex-racehorse, Amadeus, to the Old Fort Stables and when Amadeus is later stolen, the gang set off on a daring rescue mission in the dead of night. But things don’t go to plan and Matty and her boyfriend Mark soon find themselves in terrible, life-threatening danger…...
