Even the best laid plans aren't immune to disaster...
Katie Lou is making progress, both in her recovery from the accident--that nearly claimed her life and left her partially paralyzed--and in her romantic life. As Physical Therapist Rob Christopher comes to realize that he's attracted to her, and she admits that she feels the same way, he asks her for a date. She agrees, and her PT sessions turn into Dance Lessons.
But is she ready to let someone in? What about the pain she's feeling after being dumped by her fiance? That pain is amplified when her ex's father, a powerful attorney, calls to say they want to offer her a settlement to stave off any bad publicity. When she comes to the realization that she can use her psychology degree by offering counseling to people going through the same kinds of things that she is, she takes the money and begins planning to open her practice in Rob's building--and wonders what effect that will have on their budding relationship.
