Darcy and Elizabeth, married only a few months, find that their honeymoon must finally come to an end as they prepare for house guests. Charles Bingley and his sister will be the first guests since the Darcy's marriage, but to Elizabeth's regret Jane will not be able to make the trip. Along with Charles and Caroline, a friend from Darcy's past will arrive. Before they arrive, Thomas Adams sends a letter to Darcy asking for a private meeting that must be kept between the two of them as what he has to discuss concerns the friendship and future of both men.
