The mission to "change the world with words" began in April of 2015. The following summer, DiversifyLit was founded, and Virginia Gaffney's Gold Award project "The SAGAnthology" was adopted by the group and expanded into a team effort with the anonymous Team SAGA. Together, the five teens developed the publication and compiled the works into this masterpiece for the century, with the voices of the millenium.
