The Mystery School Codices are a series of short but profound books that offer a full examination of the precise steps every initiate, or would be awakened one, must take to reach ascension, or the higher spiritual vibrations.
When applied in your life, every day, and in all circumstances you will be transformed rapidly and magically into the inner world of peace and tranquillity. Yet strangely enough, much as these teachings are available to all and everyone, there are few people living their lives in perpetual peace.
This is why all the mystery schools in every part of the world, insisted on a tough regime of self-discipline, austerity and meditative practices for their new adherents. This occurred, not to torture or to enjoy having power over others, it was done to weaken the attachment to a self-image that is ego-based and filled with deceptions. Underneath all this falseness lies our eternal truth which can never be destroyed, although it can be hidden. The Mystery School wisdom states that we must not seek for truth, but rather remove all the blocks to its full emancipation. Truth arises automatically when all falseness is removed
In this first book, we will examine some of these truths and the deception of the world we see around us. Then we shall introduce the Medieval Mystery School wisdom teaching of the inner dragons which is the sacred gift to the world from the northern European schools.
The real “you” is a luminous gift that we slowly unwrap, nurture and celebrate over the years of our lives. The journey to the real you is the most amazing, wonderful, blissful experience you can have anywhere in the universe, but first you have to overcome the phoney, or fearful “you” that stands in the way. In the ancient teachings of the Scottish Mystery Schools, this false you was a replica protected and supported by the dark dragons who had captured the soul. They taught that everyone was required to battle that dragon within and release the pure or true you from its grips. This was later turned into the well known legend of St George and the Dragon, which we shall examine later in this book.
These stories are found in every corner of the Celtic and Norse world. You see it expressed as the Nephilim dragons in many of the Viking legends. Depictions of these “dragons” or serpent people can be found in the Celtic influenced Rosslyn Chapel built in 1446 near Edinburgh in Scotland. You will find one of the main pillars is encircled at the base by a ring of interlinking dragons.
There is also an interesting and often misunderstood reference to dragons in the Bible, particularly in Revelation chapter 12. The reference states: 'And there appeared another wonder in heaven, and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns ...... the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.'
While there are numerous websites, books and videos declaring this statement about the dragon as a prophecy about Satan, or an impending apocalypse, or even ETs returning to our world from the planet Nibiru I would like to suggest an alternative explanation. Perhaps this statement is simply in reference to our own inner “Dragon/fear mind within” and the child represents our innocence within that can be, and often is, captured and consumed by our fear-dragons. Other interpretations conclude that the dragon points to a series of evil or “beast-like” empires, each one "devouring" or absorbing the previous. I also believe this is in reference to the dragon-wisdom.
