    The was written with as a consequence of the MMO genre's explosion onto the public scene with games such as Ultima Online, Lineage, World of Warcraft, EVE and many others. This book covers a game designer's angle written by a gamer.

    The book explores the design concept of a "Wasteland" game. Heavily influenced by the Brian Fargo's, Richard Garriot series' the design is around a post-nuclear era, city building, clan management and balanced gameplay.

    The book starts with the intro of the game and delve deeper into the character creation and what one ought to look out for. The unique design is blended with story writing in order to define concepts or give background info.

    Further to the existing genre the book explores unique features such a Dynamic Quest Generation, City Management, City Building and other items to create a balance economy by combining FPS, MMO and simulation (management) genres.
