What’s so special about Penny Peacham’s home-made bread pudding – the same old pudding that she’s been serving up to her husband Archie and the rest of the family for ever – that it suddenly seems to be getting everyone all worked up? Could it be that there’s really some secret ingredient in the recipe, something fruity or spicy that works wonders for people’s love lives?
Penny has no idea how the fuss started. Somehow, in the middle of an interview on local radio about the need for a bypass, she mentioned the pudding – and before she knows it, she’s becoming an accidental celebrity!
All this is no help whatsoever to Penny’s daughter Michelle, whose boyfriend Robbie has disappeared mysteriously in the middle of a pub lunch. Michelle’s not really sure how much this bothers her – but if there’s any love-magic in her mum’s famous pudding, she could certainly do with a serving of it herself!
