    About

Tired of sewing up seams after finishing a knitting project? Look no further. This sweater pattern is seamless! Also, does starting new working yarns - several times - throughout a project cause a feeling of dread? For the body of this sweater, you will start and end with the same working yarn!

This pattern is an original design. Let your small K-9 be the trendsetter for the neighborhood and trips both far and wide! And, while your little furry friend looks as cute as can be, they will also be sporting an outfit that is both warm and functional.

Knit from bottom to top. You will knit back and forth and then in the round.

There is no seam up the front of the chest!

You do not have to cut the working yarn throughout body of the sweater pattern - the yarn you start with is the working yarn you will finish the body of the sweater with!

Ribbing around leg and belly openings are the only points where you have to start a new working yarn. They are worked by picking up stitches after body has been completed.

Finishing is as simple as weaving in ends - There is no sewing!

This sweater is not just for show. It is anatomically designed so dogs can actually to do their business while wearing it. Males and females!

This pattern is for a smaller breed of dog. Miniature Schnauzer, Scottie, Jack Russell, Pug, etc. would look fabulous sporting a new sweater made from this pattern.

Except for ribbing, this pattern is worked in stockinette stitch throughout sweater

If you use stripped yarn, it's easy to turn this sweater into a fancy one!

The finished dog sweater unstretched measures: Length: 17", Chest 17", From top of neck to leg openings: 5", space between legs 2"

For the sweater pictured, I used worsted weight yarn. Wool yarn provides a luxuriously warm sweater!

Directions are given either for two circular needles or for double-pointed needles (sets of 4 or 5)

The pattern is one size only. The finished measurements are listed above.
