As it turned out the ointment was not petrifying (but being that there was no proof on that, Anwen along with her roomgal has been expelled from the academy) and she has been fixed a job outside campus on a bookshop… well, the only bookshop on the witch confluence.
The fact that she was dropped out of school meant nothing that there were no occupations to deal with. Eudora put Anwen up with starting to look for her biological parents and most importantly finding who put the wrong spell on Harvey and turned him to stone.
Of course, the mystery can’t be resolved if not for the help of her crotchet cat, Apricot, and the old hairbrush that she finds new usages of. Even though the journey to getting back at university and proving the world wrong (that it was not her fault at all for things being a real life mishmash) turns out to be way more complicated than she thought, would her real parents meet her expectations or will they (as everything else) befuddle her world (as if it wasn’t already)?
With the return of Brayden everything changes…
