The author is a little older than Pakistan and vaguely remembers when Quaid-i-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah died and the whole nation was under deep shock. Although, the author was too young to appreciate the significant and impact of the death of its founder upon asking question he was told by his parents (May Allah have Mercy on them), that Pakistan was just a young baby and in its early infancy it has become orphan, by relating it to a young baby having lost her parents and becoming orphan. The author started crying with tears running in his eyes as this explanation touched his young heart. His mother (May Allah have Mercy on her) took him in her lap and consoled him and soon. The author then grew up with Pakistan. This book is although written based on research study but nevertheless it is fortified by the authors personal observation and experiences of political historical events of Pakistan, the most heartbreaking was dismemberment of Pakistan.
After, the death of Quaid-i-Azam, Pakistan has gone through various phases of its polity and in spite of Allah [SWT] has provided Pakistan with rich resources, Pakistan’s economy remained poor due to corrupt successive governments. Furthermore, domestic and external loans kept on increasing to an unprecedented level. Being deeply affected by the poor state of the Pakistan’ political history, the decided to write this book to given to new generation an overview of Pakistan’s polity and make them aware of the failures of our successive rulers in upholding the trust vested in them by Allah [SWT] and the people of Pakistan and how Pakistan was dismembered and pushed towards a most corrupt country among the nations of the world. The book consists of eighteen chapters. Chapter 1 gives introduction which also include background of the first Islamic state In Madinah founded on the name of Islam by our Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and linking it to the second Islamic state in Pakistan founded on the name of Islam by Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. A special chapter on dismemberment of Pakistan is included so that the new generation should know about the responsible parties in the dismemberment of Pakistan. Investigative study has been conducted on the poor economy and corruption in Pakistan as well as Pakistan rich in natural resources and two chapters are included towards the end of the book. The last chapter is added on Pakistan’s responsibility towards Islam, which was the fundamental requisite of Pakistan. Due to independent nature of some chapters, it was found necessary to repeat some of the text.
