Cracking the Whip
When Aunt Gracie passes away her racing stables is left to Jenny, a young London solicitor, with no idea how to run a yard. With fond memories of her aunt from her childhood she cannot bear to sell it without one final look and with it gets drawn into the intoxicating world of professional racing.
Jenny finds that the stables are managed by a cruel but attractive taskmaster by the name of Vicky, a strong woman with an unorthodox approach to management. Her methods are simple, obedience is a must and her whip is there to control the unruly stable girls who cross the line.
For Jenny, she must experience life in the yard before she can take it over, leading her to experience the wrong side of Vicky’s whip. She is not the first to feel the kiss of leather on her backside and will not be the last, but before she has finished it will be her turning the tables and ruling the yard and Vicky with whip in hand.
Cream of the Crop
When Jack Tanner’s racing stables is lucky enough to acquire the two best yearlings in the county, Jenny has to act to safeguard the future of her yard. It is up to her to secure one of them, even if Jack will never sell by conventional means. He wants something more physical and he is a man determined to get his pound of flesh.
When Jack starts to eye up Vicky, her yard manager, an unlikely wager is struck. Will Jenny manage to take one of the yearlings from him, or will possession of Vicky be claimed by her greatest rival in a battle of the yards at the Somerset Cup?
Saddle Sore
After a long and successful racing season, a saboteur is identified in the ranks. Someone is stopping Jenny’s horses from winning and in doing so threatens the very existence of the yard. When found they face the wrath of both Jenny and her manager, Vicky, two lovers bound in a mission to make the yard the most successful in the county.
For now they just need to find the culprit and when they do the individual will be paying with their flesh.
Ridden Hard to the Finish
“If you win that race, you can have me. Any way you like.”
Those were Jenny’s words to Vicky when she suggested entering the big race, all based on her horse having little chance of winning. Yet when luck goes her way, the realisation that she has gifted her body to her sadistic lover becomes reality and she must accept the consequences of her promise.
For the stables, it brings to the end a successful time, the purchase of a new yard, another victory over arch-rival Jack, who is left frustrated once more. Yet in the background a newcomer has appeared, perhaps an old flame of Vicky’s. What role will he play in the future running of the yard and more worryingly what role is he planning to play in Vicky claiming her prize?
Whipped into Shape
When Jenny completes the purchase of Mrs Barwick’s racing yard she knows instantly something is wrong. The place is run down, the staff unhelpful and all the equipment she has purchased has been stolen. Jenny knows she has been ripped off, putting all she has worked for on the line.
For her lover and yard manager, Vicky, the answer is simple. The staff must taste the wrong end of her whip and standards must rise at the yard before it is too late. Yet Jenny knows there is more to it. Something more underhand is taking place right there in front of her and it is up to her to find out who is pursuing a personal vendetta.
Will Jenny be able to control her lover and turn around the yard at the same time? Or will she find that finally she has taken on more than she can control?
