    Fudge Making for Beginners

    About

I used to think fudge was chewy bland, toffee like with an artificial vanilla taste. When people I knew said they loved fudge I could not really understand why.
Then one day back in 2006, I was going through a recipe book that was given to me by my grandmother looking for something to make. I could turn my hand to a few cakes, pies and biscuits with a fair amount of success, but I wanted to try something different.
I came across a recipe for vanilla fudge. The ingredients included double cream, butter and sugar. I thought how such nice ingredients could produce the fudge that I was not that keen on. I had the ingredients in the house so I thought nothing ventured nothing gained.
The results were amazing, soft, smooth melt in the mouth fudge.
I was then hooked; I experimented trying lots of different recipes, testing them out on friends and family. The response I had was amazing nearly everyone saying how they absolutely loved the fudge.
I think the best responses were from those who said, (like me) that they tried it that they didn’t like fudge. That changed as soon as they tried my fudge.
I got an absolutely amazing response.
    Go on, have a go.
    You will surprise yourself,
    John
