Further, most gluten free cookery books out there lack fun and excitement as well as recipes that equal their 'normal' equivalents. Freaks Eat Too is dragging gluten free recipe books into the 21st century!

Long story short, Scotty (our author) adopted the diet although not a coeliac. He lost around 3 stones (in weight) in 6 months, felt more alert with better concentration, and best of all…..was less gassy (parp!).
Scotty was annoyed by the limited selection of gluten free food in stores and restaurants, by the poor quality of the items that were available... but what really annoyed the heck out of him most was the prices that were being charged for them!
So he decided to challenge what was there and to come up with gluten free alternatives to every day/favourite meals that were easy enough for the most basic of cooks (like himself) to make, that didn’t break the bank to do so, but also that would taste awesome too. Never accept poor quality or overpriced substitutes – FREAKS EAT TOO!
