    About

Food and the Blood Type O:
    Blood Type "0"

The blood group 0 individuals thrive on intense physical exercise and animal protein. The digestive tract of all these people kept the memory of earlier times . The high-protein diet of hunter-gatherer and the enormous physical demands raised on the old systems representatives of this group probably kept most primitive human beings on a mild state of ketosis - a condition which alters the body's metabolism - . Ketosis is the result of a diet high in fat and protein and very few carbohydrates. The body protein and fat transforms into ketones , which are used in place of the sugars to maintain stable blood glucose levels. The combination of ketosis , the lack of calories and constant physical activity made them light machine game, the key to the survival of the human race. Dietary recommendations today generally discourage excessive consumption of animal protein, because the saturated fats have proved a risk factor for heart disease and cancer. Of course, most of the meat consumed today is saturated fat, and contaminated by the indiscriminate use of antibiotics and hormones . The saying " you are what you eat " may have a nefarious meaning when talking about the current supply of meat. Fortunately , organic meats and free of attachments are becoming more widely available. The success of the Diet of type 0 depends on your lean meats , poultry and fish , free of chemicals. Individuals of blood group 0 dairy products and cereals are not as beneficial as most of the people in the other blood groups, because their digestive system is not yet fully adapted to them . These meals became staples of the human diet until much later in the course of our evolution.
