Finally a drink recipe guide that is easy to understand, gives step by step instructions, and contains the drinks you'll actually want to make!
Read on your PC, Mac, smart phone, tablet or Kindle device.
This book does not contain 10,000 recipes from the 1850's made with rye whiskey, dirt and gasoline. If you're looking for a recipe so that you can make your great grandfather a drink, this book might not be for you. However, this book does contain hundreds of the most popular cocktails, shots, martinis and more. These are drinks that someone has actually ordered since Prohibition. These are the drinks ordered and made TODAY! Hundreds of them! Whether you're a bartender and don't want to thumb through a million drinks to find a Long Island Iced Tea between a Lime Rickey and a Lord and Lady, or you're having some friends over for a party and you want to impress them with your favorite bar's most popular shots and bombs, then this book was written for YOU!

I actually went to bartending school about a year and a half ago. I know a lot of people make fun of Bartending schools and say that they are scams, but I did have fun. I spent 500$ and never got a Bartending gig but I did have a blast.
Any book that starts off with a W.C. Fields quote is A ok in my book!
When I was reading this book I was thinking back to when I was trying to memorize many of the drinks in here. There's so many! The Adios MF, Bay Breeze, Sea Breeze, Cape Cod, there was a little Cuba Libre joke in here that was funny. It made me want to still go out and try to get a Bartending gig again! My problem is that I want to be behind the bar, and every single place that I applied for seems to either want someone with 4+ years experience. Or, If you have no experience then you better be a hot chick in a mini skirt!
All the important recipes that people order are in here. From the pinky in the air Martini sipping crowd, down to the BJ shooter College kid crowd.
I am more of an IPA beer guy myself but hey, I love mixing drinks for others. I definitely recommend this book. Not just for Bartenders even though it is a great book for an active Bartender to have. But even a person who entertains friends at home. There is great drink recipes all throughout the book.

Interesting bits about cocktails, and also interesting cocktail recipes. Even the ones that are classic cocktails you've heard of have a little bit of a tweak here and there, in ways that make me want to give them another try. Seems like if you make a batch or three of the cocktails recipes, you'd get a handle on it enough to concoct your own, which is also cool. Every bartender should have this book.
