Cool Writing Tips: A Month of What You’d Call Guidelines

In the Introduction, author Rebecca Lawton writes, "In summer 2016, I emailed readers, writers, and artists daily writing tips, thirty-one short takes on the creative life. Cool Writing Tips, they were called, because the days were hot and we needed relief. The Tips, tiny, digestible bits of advice, are now collected into a small book of guidance. 'They're not just writing tips,' said one early Tips reader. 'They're also what you'd call guidelines for living.'"
