Carlsson was escorted by Detective Bishoff out of the hotel room where he stayed with Danni leaving a private note for her before he left, getting into a black SUV which quickly pulled away in a rather inappropriate manner he and the detective were knocked out from a gun hit. His disappearance coupled with the note he left behind was reported by Danni to the police whom ended up seeing her as the centre of the whole thing given that the detective was considered missing before coming to see carlsson in their hotel room. Danni sat speechless in her chair at the police station, instantly beginning to feel sick to her stomach. She nodded to their suggestions; it was all she could do in that moment. Thoughts and questions raced through her head. She tried to plot out different scenarios – where might they have been taken, what were they planning to do with them, and, most importantly, how was she going to find them and save them.
