Ogden Messiah

A traveler has what appears at first sight to be a chance meeting with a stranger. The two meet again in wild and threatening circumstances, and a tenuous bond is formed. Meanwhile several Federal and State authorities are seriously interested in the stranger's plans, and rare characters across the States travel by road and by air towards the final climax where guilt, greed, passion and justice collide in scenes of terror and fantastic consequences. This is a powerful story, well told and perfectly imagined.
