A quick note from Lynn:
I'm delighted to publish the sixth book in the Lord James Harrington series. One of my regular readers summed these books up well commenting on the great sense of community and that this aspect is just as important as the mystery to her. That pleased me enormously as that has always been my aim. A big thank you to all of you that continue to enjoy this cosy series. As you know, I write simply for the fun of it and it's wonderful that so many people appear to be getting as much fun reading them.
For those new to the series, the first two or three books were 'testers' so you'll find some novice writing there - that's why they're the price they are. But training and workshops and now the skills of a professional writer and editor ensure I continue to improve. Would I liken these books to any other series? Probably the Paul Temple novels by Francis Durbridge for the mystery part. The community/folklore element comes from my own experience on living close to a very community-based village that celebrate customs and traditions.
