Das ist genaue Abschrift der 700. Ausgabe aus dem Jahre 1942.
This is the exact transcript of the 700-th German edition from 1942.
Here is part of Hitler’s preface to his book:
I know that attracting people by the written word is much less efficient than by the spoken word, and that every great movement on this Earth owes its progress to great speakers and not to great writers.
The German, and especially the Bavarian authorities, have always been aware of this fact, but they nevertheless prohibited and prevented this book to be published in different languages in the world. One exception to this rule, perhaps even the only one and therefore also the very interesting, was the Swedish publisher, who had to defend his edition before several Swedish Courts, all the way up to the Swedish Supreme Court. The defense lawyer who had taken part in that process, later on held a lecture on the very matter in front of the students of the Oxford University, and he concluded that it was only about the shame of Bavarians and other Germans because of the fact that Hitler began his monstrous political career in Munich, Bavaria. Hitler started his political career in Munich’s beer pubs and restaurants. There he attracted his first followers, created a movement and a party, SA units, and so on.
