There is no doubt that Amazon is the king of the online retail jungle. If you have something you want to sell, then you have to consider their proposition. Their success can become your success.
This is pretty much what I thought when I was considering how to increase the sales of my unique products. It was the start of a very steep and difficult learning curve. I became friends with all their employees at their Customer Service centres, (well it felt like all of them because a different one answered my queries each time) but they still left me frustrated and angry. Yes angry, because when you get frustrated enough you get angry…. it’s just one of those things. Ohh one little point… Amazon definitely don’t like the use of CAPITAL LETTERS.
However I persevered and eventually got there, deciding at the end of the process to write a ‘guide’ to achieving a sale on Amazon. This pamphlet is not for experienced Amazon retailers, it’s too basic for you. No… it’s for dummies like me who have to go to sites like Freelancer to get advice on how to successfully get our products listed and to help dig us out of the almighty hole we’ve gotten ourselves into. The cost of this is not insubstantial by the way!
You see the plain and simple truth of it is, if you leave the dedicated route Amazon have laid out for you, you’ll slip into the slippery marshland of customer service… AAAgggghh. I was one of the lucky ones, the forums are littered with past sellers who just didn’t make it, or were reduced to only using Capital LETTERS.
So, you’ve made up your mind, you’re going to give the Amazon system a try, let me gently hold your hand and lead you to your massive income generated the Amazon way. You no longer need luck, just this guide! But please remember, you won’t need it if you’re already successfully selling on Amazon. Good luck!
