A Southend fan who wanted to support Chelsea, who also had spells watching Plymouth and a pair of Bristol’s. The 92 ground quest starts in 1971 at dilapidated Roots Hall and ends in 2016 at tangerine Bloomfield Road – in between are the trials of being frozen, ecstatic, worried, resigned, cosy, content and expectant.
