Ed Gein was a farmer who lived in Wisconsin in the 1950's. He was a quite and introverted man who bore the scars of his overbearing mother. At some point in his life he considered under going a sex change operation but he finally decided against it.
What he did instead was dress up in the skins of dead women and dance around his house at night. Some of them he dug up from local graveyards and some he murdered for their skins and other parts. Ed was the inspiration for the movie Psycho and also for Hannibal Lecter and Buffalo Bill.
After he was captured by the local police he admitted to everything but we now know that Ed kept some secrets from the police. Some very dark secrets indeed. At least twice in recent years human remains have been found that are now credited to Ed Gein. Inside this book you will find a lot of secrets about Ed Gein that have never been known before. There's some really spooky stuff here that just may have you making sure the doors are locked at night. And if your a fan of true crime I think you'll love it.
