T.S. Eliot is renowned as one of the twentieth century’s major poets. He was born in Missouri but as a young adult he emigrated to England. He was a poet, essayist, and literary critic, among other literary endeavors.
Written in 1922, The Waste Land, is one of Eliot’s most famous works of poetry, and was composed during a challenging part of his life, as he suffered from disease and marital problems.
