This is a FIX for the AppleMobileDeviceService.exe problem with high CPU. It also fixes the problem with iTunes not backing up or syncing with iPhone and other Apple devices like iPods and iPads in the Windows platform. However, the same approach can be used for Apple computers that may have the problem. It explains known fixes like "netsh winsock reset" command, uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes and stopping the process from Task Manager. If you can add/remove programs in Windows XP or use the Programs and Features in WIN7 and Vista then you can easily apply this fix yourself! The FIX is explained in Layman's terms (nontechnical terms). It is also an opportunity for you to engage with company that will help you with any iTunes issues in the future!
