THE PRINCESS WHO WAS ‘DIFFERENT’
The Princess Who Was ‘Different’ is a story about what it’s like to never hear the words, “You are beautiful.” What do you do when you know that you’re not pretty? How do you gain attention when all of the pretty girls are pushing boys away? Well, this Princess rises above it all: she works harder, she feels deeper and she never accepts anything less than a real commitment.
“Beauty is wasted on attractive people,” the Princess said. “They have no idea how lucky they are - the treasures heaped upon them simply because they were born with features that are in fashion.”
Everyone has felt like they don’t fit in – whether it’s because they aren’t attractive enough, smart enough, tall enough, clever enough – it’s something we all have in common. What matters is how we deal with it. This story is about how a real Princess learns how to see beauty where others can’t.
Like all of the Prince and Princess Fables there are simple lessons to be learned about growing up, sacrifice and duty, with a touch of comedy and a few universal insights for both children and adults.
There will be another PF2 story released as an eBook every month in 2015. This is #4.
