Rosie spends every spare moment reading her favourite book "A World Of Animals" because she loves learning about anything animal related. However, "A World Of Animals" is no ordinary book and Rosie is no ordinary child. When the pages begin glow Rosie gets magically whisked away to far-away lands where not only can she understand the animals but she can speak to them too.
Having the ability to talk to animals comes in handy when Rosie is transported to the Savanna Grasslands where she comes face to face with a very grumpy Olive Baboon named Barry.
