Ides of March 2016. Please comment on my book. It truly helps others decide if they want to read my book. This is the only nonfiction book ever written about being a convict in Colombian prisons and the subsequent escapes.
I have written the most ENJOYABLE and FUN book ever written about PRISON and ESCAPE – and the best documented. ‘How can a book about prison escapes be a FUN read?’ you may ask. Well, there are no ‘Woe is me’. I was smuggling cocaine and I knew it was against the law, and if caught, I was prison bound. Plus you get lots of FUN visuals, such as; mug shots, news photos, picture gallery, fantastic illustrations and prison schematics.
In 1970 I started smuggling cocaine from Mexico and Peru and found it to be easy. I was 26 y.o. and in a hurry. Blow will do that to you. Three years later, I flew to Colombia on a private plane to make the ‘big deal’, ie to smuggle enough cocaine back to the States to retire on. I wasn’t in Cali, Colombia but days before the DEA swooped down upon me, busting me with 5 kilos of cocaine. I was summarily convicted and spent 33 months in brutally violent prisons before my first escape. I spent a year on the streets of Bogota having too much fun before being busted again. I spent another 27 months in prison then managed to escape a second time...and the adventure continued as I attempted to leave Colombia without papers and…don’t want to spoil the ending.
My 300-page (120,000 words) autobiographical novel tells a tale of survival, of a hippie turned cocaine smuggler and finally a prisoner and fugitive. You’ll find intriguing my observations and insights of the people I write about and the brutal honesty in which I present myself. The book is introspective and everyone can and will relate. I invite you to feel intimately what doing time in Colombia entailed and the joy of escape – even love and sex.
Book includes:
50 Photos and mug shots with news articles galore
18 Illustrations
6 Prison diagrams
All this FUN stuff will appear on your Kindle as a single page no matter what your font size. Thanks Dudley.
EVERY WORD IS TRUE. THERE ARE NO EMBELLISHMENTS – NONE NEEDED, BELIEVE ME. And favor...Please write a 2 sentence comment or more if provoked. Thanks...
