The “Unix Handbook for Oracle DBA” is a practical guide for Oracle DBA’s working on Unix. It’s from my collection for over 15 years of practical usage of these tips and techniques as a DBA on Unix Servers.
This book is designed specially for DBA’s and Database specialist who are working on unix servers
All commands and tips in this book have syntax with description and explanation on output result. It has brief scripts which are useful on the job as an oracle DBA on Unix.
Writing this book was quite challenging, interesting and also satisfying, given that I have a reference book which addresses most of the challenges related to the Title faced by DBA’s on the job working on Unix Server which I believe would be very useful to intended Audience.
Few years ago when I was looking for something similar, I could not find one, and I have not found even at the time of writing this book which could quite parallel the tips and techniques covered in this book which are practical, handy and easy to understand and apply.
